Tarin Bryne Volunteer Award 2017
Do you know a PTA volunteer who has gone above and beyond and deserves to be recognized for the work they do on behalf of children? Rhode Island PTA wants to know and hopefully we can help you honor this caring, dedicated person with a very special award.
The Tarin Bryne Volunteer Award was established 7 years ago (previously known as the Star on PTA Way Award). This award is given to individual(s) that volunteer for a PTA (State, Council, and/or School level) and has/have gone above and beyond. Last year the name changed to honor Tarin’s legacy as a person who was a model PTA leader. She espoused all the values of what a PTA volunteer represents. Her commitment was to all children and families with an emphasis on diversity and inclusion. She had a gift for making people feel welcome. She was an advocate for all, especially those with special needs. Please consider nominating an individual for this award.
All nominees must be submitted by Sunday, February 12, 2017. The Tarin Bryne Volunteer Award Committee will select a nominee(s) for the award. The award recipient will be announced at Rhode Island PTA’s annual Spring Convention dinner on Thursday, April 6, 2017.
Please consider nominating a very deserving volunteer who has gone above and beyond for our children.
